Top Winter Polishes of 2013

So it's that time of year again, where all of the beautiful deep and rich colours are socially acceptable to wear and make you feel that little bit more festive. I love having seasonal nail colours and here are some of my favourites for winter 2013.

Collection2000 - Parma Violets
I love this colour because the shade of purple it is reminds me of a velvet which is quite festive. It applys nicely and has a great natural shine. It's quick drying however it doesn't last for ages without a top coat.

Nails Inc - Denim
This gorgeous colour is so opaque and shiny and when applied it looks like an almost navy colour which I think is great for this time of year and goes with a lot of things. The brush on this polish so great and doesn't shed at all, and the consistancy of the polish is also very thick.

Gale Hayman - 14K Nail
This gorgeous polish is a festive favourite of mine, although you do need two or three coats to get a opaque finnish. Once applied though this 14karat gold nail polish looks stunning, and makes a great gift or to wow people at christmas parties.

Revlon Moon Candy - Moon Dust
I love the effect this polish gives. You first apply the black polish which is extremely opaque, you then apply the top coat of glitter which gives a holographic effect. You don't get that much product out of the bottles though which is a shame, however it's worth the money and the colour choices are great.

Barry M Jelly Hi Shine - Pomegranate
I love this polish all year round and christmas is no exception! I think the beautiful berry colour really works for this time of year and as you all probably know Barry M nail polishes are my favourite! I can't praise them enough. This polish is a safe but pretty colour which will suit every skin type.

Sinful Colors - Frenzy
This nail polish to me just looks like tinsel! I love the purple and pink combo and think it will look so pretty over the top of a black or silver colour at christmas time!

Rimmel London - Double Decker Red
I had to include a red polish, especially at this time of year! This has santa written all over it! It's a festive colour, the consistancy is great and it leaves a nice shine. Oh it's long lasting too!

Barry M - Silvery Lilac
I think this is such a good colour for a New Year's Eve party or something, where you don't want to wear a Christmassy polish but still something wintery and sparkley! It changes colours in different lights and has a really nice sparkle to it, the only down side it you may need to apply a few coats!

Collection2000 - Shimmy Shake
This is what christmas is about. Gold, Glitter and Sparkles! Perfect for parties or just to cheer you up on a winters day! I think this polish looks really pretty just on your ring finger over the top of a black or red polish. You get the best effect with a top coat with this polish.

NYC - Chelsea
I only got this the other day but I am In love! It's a beautiful wine colour and has a slight pearly finnish to it, I just think it's perfect for christmas, especially as I live in burgandy coloured clothing! I think this might be my all time favourite polish! It's so shiny and beautiful! Everyone should own it! And it's so cheap at £1.79!
